Common Questions
How much does a patio cost on the Gold Coast?
It depends on size, roof type and how it attaches to your home — insulated panels cost more than single-skin Colorbond, flyovers more than standard attached. That's why we quote from a real site measure: you get a fixed price for your home, not a range that moves later.
How long does a patio take to build?
Most of our patios are built in 1–3 weeks, with the on-site work often under a week. Council approval adds lead time up front, which is why we start that paperwork immediately after you accept the quote.
Do I need council approval, and who handles it?
Usually yes — and we handle all of it. Application, engineering and certification are included in your fixed quote. You don't deal with council at any point.
How does payment work?
A flat $1,000 deposit secures your build and starts approvals. The majority is payable at the final measure before materials are ordered, and the balance on completion — when the job is finished and you're happy.
Is an insulated roof worth the extra cost?
If you'll actually sit under it through a Queensland summer, yes — the temperature difference is significant, and it's much quieter in rain. If it's mainly weather cover for a walkway or car, single-skin Colorbond does the job for less. We'll tell you straight which one your space needs.
